Movoice AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI voice agent platform and services.

2.3 Contacts

In our mobile app, if you choose to sync your phone contacts, we upload the names, phone numbers, and email addresses from your device's address book to your private Movoice account so you can call, message, and manage them. We ask for your explicit consent in the app before any contacts are uploaded, we never upload your contacts in the background, they are never sold, and you can delete them at any time.

2.4 Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services (Google Calendar, Calendly, WhatsApp Business, etc.), we access only the data necessary to provide our services, such as calendar availability for booking appointments or sending and receiving WhatsApp messages on your behalf.

2.5 Transcription & Read-Aloud

Voice transcription is performed by our cloud transcription providers — ElevenLabs (international languages) and Sarvam (Indian languages including Odia). When you use transcription, the audio is sent to these providers to convert it to text, and the resulting transcript is saved to your account so you can review it. Read-aloud converts message text to speech using your device's built-in voice and works offline. We transcribe words only and do not create voiceprints or identify speakers. You can turn these features off and delete transcripts at any time.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers (sub-processors): Third-party vendors who process data to deliver our services, including: Twilio (telephony and SMS), Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform (WhatsApp messaging), Bolna (AI voice call processing), OpenAI and Google (AI language and speech), ElevenLabs (AI voice synthesis and speech-to-text), Sarvam (speech-to-text for Indian languages), Convex (database hosting), Clerk (authentication), Resend (transactional email), and Sentry (crash and error diagnostics).
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Diagnostics (crash & error reporting): When our app or website crashes or hits an error, we send diagnostic data to Sentry to detect, triage, and fix the problem. This may include the error and stack trace, app version, operating system and device model, the screen involved, timestamps, and a randomized identifier. We configure Sentry to scrub personal identifiers and do not intentionally send call recordings, transcripts, message content, contact lists, or phone numbers. Diagnostic data is processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) and is retained for approximately 90 days. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, stable, and bug-free. You can turn crash reporting off at any time in Settings.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure data storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Call recordings and transcripts are retained according to your account settings. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time — in the mobile app under Settings → Delete account, or by following our data deletion instructions.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. SMS/Text Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Movoice AI. These messages may include:

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Service notifications and updates
  • Account verification codes
  • Customer support communications

9.1 Opting Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also contact us at support@movoice.ai to be removed from our messaging list.

9.2 Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and communication preferences. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

9.3 No Sharing of Mobile Numbers

Your mobile phone number and contact information will never be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. We only use your phone number to provide you with the services you have requested.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
